Community Safety Programs

Logan County Electric Cooperative understands knowing how to use electrical power safely is as important as knowing how to use it efficiently. For this reason, the Cooperative offers safety education programs for members and the public.

The "High Voltage" program features a "hot line" safety demonstration used at annual meetings, schools, civic groups, scout meetings, paramedics training and other organizations. The demonstration, conducted by two qualified Cooperative employees, illustrates the potential dangers of objects coming into contact with suspended power lines or fallen hot lines.
